WEBVTT

1
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:08.000
This is our German short-haired pointer who's been using the spot on for...

2
00:00:08.000 --> 00:00:12.000
I think it's been a little over a year. Total life-changer.

3
00:00:12.000 --> 00:00:19.000
He loves to run, never stops. Completely knows his boundaries.

4
00:00:19.000 --> 00:00:23.000
We have about 20 acres enclosed.

5
00:00:29.000 --> 00:00:32.000
He just gets to do his own thing and we don't have to worry.

6
00:00:32.000 --> 00:00:38.000
We actually lost his brother quite tragically before we had spot on.

7
00:00:38.000 --> 00:00:44.000
They got into a pond across the road in the wintertime.

8
00:00:44.000 --> 00:00:47.000
It was like in March when we were kind of getting a thaw.

9
00:00:47.000 --> 00:00:50.000
And he went through the pond.

10
00:00:50.000 --> 00:00:53.000
I mean, as you can tell, we're pretty rural out here.

11
00:00:53.000 --> 00:00:57.000
There's a lot of just vacant land.

12
00:00:57.000 --> 00:01:03.000
And those dogs went crazy, crazy before we were able to contain them.

13
00:01:03.000 --> 00:01:15.000
The collar looks orange because we put orange tape on it just in case we needed

14
00:01:15.000 --> 00:01:16.000
to find it.

15
00:01:16.000 --> 00:01:25.000
His boundary is just up here and he knows that.

16
00:01:25.000 --> 00:01:30.000
So he will not go any further than that.

17
00:01:30.000 --> 00:01:35.000
He has definitely learned.

18
00:01:35.000 --> 00:01:39.000
The training probably took us about two weeks maybe?

19
00:01:39.000 --> 00:01:42.000
Huh, Smokey.

20
00:01:51.000 --> 00:01:56.000
Hey Smokey, we're going to go for a walk.

21
00:01:56.000 --> 00:02:03.000
Hey, where's the limit?

22
00:02:03.000 --> 00:02:05.000
No.

23
00:02:05.000 --> 00:02:09.000
I smoke.

24
00:02:09.000 --> 00:02:13.000
He knows what to get to the airport.

25
00:02:13.000 --> 00:02:20.820
