WEBVTT

1
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.000
I first had chosen the Bertules after seeing them up at the Tullomor Show.

2
00:00:05.000 --> 00:00:09.760
The firehouse wanted something that would give a calf when they're just after

3
00:00:09.760 --> 00:00:11.000
landing on the ground

4
00:00:11.000 --> 00:00:13.000
just to give them a little bit of a boost.

5
00:00:13.000 --> 00:00:19.000
We've mostly grassland but there's a lot of tillage and area in the area.

6
00:00:19.000 --> 00:00:23.000
We have a pedigree herd of partonnays cattle

7
00:00:23.000 --> 00:00:27.000
and we have some commercial limousine and cemental crosses.

8
00:00:27.000 --> 00:00:32.000
We have most of the cows from the 2050 January to the middle of April.

9
00:00:32.000 --> 00:00:38.000
Bertules are key essential to have as it's a big boost for the calf

10
00:00:38.000 --> 00:00:43.000
that helps the calves to get up faster and increases their immunity level.

11
00:00:43.000 --> 00:00:48.000
I'd recommend at Bertules to any farmer I know, so I have recommended a tool

12
00:00:48.000 --> 00:00:50.000
that dairy farmers that I work with.
