1
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.870
Hello everyone, my name is TJ Marshall and I'm a mechanical engineering major

2
00:00:04.870 --> 00:00:05.380
and computer

3
00:00:05.380 --> 00:00:08.860
science minor attending the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

4
00:00:08.860 --> 00:00:11.880
I was introduced to the bay in the choke grade by my mentor, Mr. Carter.

5
00:00:11.880 --> 00:00:15.420
While it seemed far out of my scope back then, I further come to greatly

6
00:00:15.420 --> 00:00:16.500
appreciate and enjoy

7
00:00:16.500 --> 00:00:17.500
that experience.

8
00:00:17.500 --> 00:00:20.360
This serves out the basis for not only my future experiences with the

9
00:00:20.360 --> 00:00:21.360
conference, also

10
00:00:21.360 --> 00:00:22.360
in life in general.

11
00:00:22.360 --> 00:00:26.920
The bay and not only inspired me, it showed me that my path is not limited.

12
00:00:26.920 --> 00:00:30.540
The bay I wore not especially cemented that product in my mind, allowing me to

13
00:00:30.540 --> 00:00:31.060
meet many

14
00:00:31.060 --> 00:00:34.840
people in high positions and in being in major STEM companies made it seem far

15
00:00:34.840 --> 00:00:35.400
closer than

16
00:00:35.400 --> 00:00:37.600
I ever thought it could be.

17
00:00:37.600 --> 00:00:41.220
So far, my STEM journey has led me to do research at Clemson University last

18
00:00:41.220 --> 00:00:41.680
summer.

19
00:00:41.680 --> 00:00:44.720
I'm currently in the lab on campus where I'm conducting research during the

20
00:00:44.720 --> 00:00:45.560
school year.

21
00:00:45.560 --> 00:00:49.430
And I can only say that without bay I would not be able to say I would be here

22
00:00:49.430 --> 00:00:50.080
today.

23
00:00:50.080 --> 00:00:50.400
Thank you.
